Our client is a leading utilities provider in Cork. They are heavily invested in sustainability, modernisation, and driving green initiatives for the future.
They are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst which will report to the Finance Partner within the team. This positions will play a key role in supporting the commercial finance function. You will evaluate new business opportunities, ensure robust financial governance, and deliver critical analysis to support long-term strategic decisions.
Financial Modelling: Design and maintain financial appraisal models to accurately evaluate revenues, costs, and return on investment (ROI).
Commercial Evaluation: Assess commercial proposals and connection agreements, ensuring full compliance with financial and policy requirements.
Regulatory & Policy Support: Assist with the development, drafting, and presentation of tariff proposals and policy submissions to regulatory bodies.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure queries are addressed promptly.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant commercial finance experience, ideally within a regulated industry, utilities, or infrastructure sector.
Technical Skills: Advanced financial and numerical modelling skills using Microsoft Excel.
Education: Third-level qualification with proven technical competency.
