Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading global manufacturing organisation to appoint a Senior Supply Chain Manager in Wexford.
This is a key leadership opportunity where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence supply chain strategy, lead a high-performing team and support the continued evolution of the site's operations.
Reporting into the site leadership team, this role will have responsibility across Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Trade and Logistics, ensuring a robust supply chain operation that supports customer requirements, operational performance and business growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and develop the supply chain functions, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
- Develop and deliver supply chain strategies that support business growth, operational excellence and long-term site objectives.
- Drive effective demand and supply planning to ensure alignment across manufacturing, commercial and global supply chain teams.
- Improve inventory performance, optimise costs, enhance service levels and drive operational efficiency.
- Build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to ensure supply continuity and improve supplier performance.
- Lead continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, including ERP and planning system enhancements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Finance and Operations to deliver cross-functional improvements and business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and trade requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years supply chain leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment, such as pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, or another complex manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams across planning, procurement, and broader supply chain functions.
- Strong expertise in supply chain planning, procurement, supplier management, and continuous operational improvement.
- Demonstrated success delivering cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
