We are working with a well-established award-winning, full-service law firm based in New Ross, County Wexford. They are actively involved in Irish legal community, actively serving on the Law Society of Ireland's Council and various professional committees. They are currently looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Conveyancing service.
Key Responsibilities
- Documentation & Correspondence: Prepare legal contracts, closing documents, probate forms, statements of assets/liabilities, and general legal correspondence.
- File Management: Efficiently manage conveyancing and probate files from initial instruction through to completion.
- Financial Admin: Assist with mortgage drawdowns, stamping/eStamping, preparing completion statements, and general billing support.
- Daily Admin: Handle audio typing, diary management, scheduling, and general legal administration.
What they Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record as a Legal Secretary within an Irish law firm, ideally with experience in conveyancing but not mandatory.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Irish legal practices, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Skills: Excellent typing, formatting, and organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Work Ethic: Ability to manage multiple files and tight deadlines with confidence and accuracy.
- Interpersonal Skills: Professional, client-focused approach with the ability to handle sensitive information with complete discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using legal case management systems is a distinct advantage.
