Our Client, a global manufacturing organisation, is seeking a HR Specialist to join their Wexford site and support the business on a global scale. As HR Specialist your role will be to support employees, managers, and HR colleagues across multiple regions. This role will focus on responding to HR inquiries through their ticketing system, ensuring a positive employee experience, and maintaining accurate HR data and processes. The position is an initial 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, processes, and general inquiries.
- Manage HR tickets, ensuring timely and accurate responses or escalation to the appropriate team.
- Support onboarding and employee data changes in HR systems, working closely with HRIS and Shared Services colleagues.
- Maintain employee records and personnel files in compliance with data protection requirements.
- Assist with generating employee letters (e.g., employment confirmations, loan/mortgage letters).
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards are consistently met.
- Manage and update HR systems and platforms such as Employee Central, ECSC, SuccessFactors, and iCIMS.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and contributing to operational enhancements.
- Manage and maintain HR-related systems and data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of employee records primarily in Ireland and UK region
- Collaborate effectively across teams and regions to ensure consistent HR service delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in HR Shared Services or HR Operations preferred.
- Experience with HR systems such as Employee Central,Success Factors, and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., iCIMS) is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Target oriented and team player with a strong understanding of Human Resources Policies, Procedures, and Benefits is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and ability to manage information confidentially.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt in a fast-moving environment, and balance multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures and regions.
- Fluency in English is required.
