Project Manager - Daily Rate Contract
Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager for a long-term, daily rate contract assignment with a key client in Athlone. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Emerging Technologies team and play a pivotal role in delivering significant site infrastructure projects.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager for Site Enabling Infrastructure Projects, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of critical utility upgrade and expansion projects within an existing Central Utilities Building (CUB).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of utility upgrade projects, with a primary focus on Chilled Water, Cooling Water, and Low-Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) systems.
- Oversee the associated electrical, piping, and automation infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in strict accordance with the client's internal Project Execution Model (PEM).
- Lead the review and coordination of utilities design to ensure it meets end-user requirements, specifications, and all regulatory standards.
- Prepare and manage investment applications, project budgets, and financial forecasts to ensure delivery within budget.
- Develop and coordinate detailed project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare and coordinate project specifications, tender documents, risk registers, and contracts.
- Act as the lead for resolving engineering challenges during the construction and commissioning phases.
- Provide regular project updates to project owners, steering groups, and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in the management of engineering capital investment projects.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated project manager role.
- Proven experience in the delivery of chilled water and heat pump projects.
Preferred
- A Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
- Experience working within the Pharmaceutical (GxP) industry is an advantage but not essential.
