We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic and highly regulated manufacturing organisation based in Waterford. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior leaders, influence strategic decision-making, and drive people initiatives that support business growth and organisational excellence.
This is a permanent, site-based position offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to both strategic and operational HR priorities while helping to shape a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support organisational goals.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing trusted HR guidance and influencing key decisions.
- Contribute to business planning and support the delivery of strategic HR and organisational initiatives.
- Lead and support change management programmes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Provide expert advice on Employee Relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, procedures and best practice standards.
- Drive succession planning, talent development and internal mobility across the organisation.
- Support workforce planning, headcount forecasting, HR budgeting, and annual salary review processes.
- Champion employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives to enhance employee experience.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture while supporting corporate social responsibility and sustainability programmes.
Key Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' HR experience, ideally gained within life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience in Employee Relations, with Industrial Relations and union engagement experience considered advantageous.
- Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive business-focused people initiatives.
