My client, a global pioneer in the medical technology space, is seeking a dynamic Associate Quality Manager.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will bridge the gap between process development and full-scale production. You will be the primary advocate for quality at the source, ensuring that every printed circuit board assembly meets rigorous regulatory standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct a dedicated team of Quality Engineers and Technicians, cultivating an environment focused on accountability, precision, and continuous growth.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and execute the production strategy for the PCBA business unit.
- Defect Eradication: Lead cross-functional task forces to identify root causes for scrap and non-conforming materials, implementing robust CAPAs to drive down waste.
- NPI Support: Partner with Process Development teams to transition new products from concept to the manufacturing floor seamlessly.
- Technical Excellence: Oversee complex investigations (Internal/External complaints) and manage high-level documentation using Engineering Essentials.
- Validation & Analysis: Review and approve Process Qualifications, Test Method Validations, Gage R&Rs, and DOE's to ensure process capability and stability.
We are looking for a systematic problem-solver who can balance technical rigor with people leadership.
The Essentials:
- Education: Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering, Science, or a Quality-related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years within the Medical Device industry (or a similarly regulated high-precision environment).
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and influence site-wide quality culture.
- Project Mastery: Strong PM skills with a track record of delivering complex quality initiatives on time and within budget.
