We are seeking a QC Laboratory Systems Analyst to support laboratory testing activities across raw materials, in-process drug substance and drug product, stability studies, and environmental monitoring of manufacturing and utilities areas.
This is an 11-month contract position, requiring 2 days onsite per week in Meath, with the remaining time flexible in line with business needs.
This role plays a key part in ensuring laboratory data integrity, system reliability, and operational excellence within a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for laboratory data management and instrument control systems, including (but not limited to) GLIMS (Global Labware LIMS Platform), Laboratory Execution Systems (LES), Lonza MODA, and Waters Empower.
- Support laboratory testing operations by maintaining and enhancing lab IT systems.
- Contribute to building and optimising laboratory systems to support technology transfer and commercialisation of biologics.
- Champion a "right first time" culture, incorporating lean principles such as standard work, simplification, and visual management.
- Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support for laboratory systems and data workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, ICH, USP and other relevant global regulatory guidelines, particularly relating to analytical method development and validation.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Strong understanding of analytical methodologies such as HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, glycan analysis, bioassays, PCR, capillary electrophoresis, and compendial testing.
- Practical experience configuring, building, and maintaining laboratory management systems (e.g., LIMS, MODA, Empower).
- Familiarity with system configuration, scripting, or coding is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with laboratory systems (Labware LIMS experience preferred).
- Degree qualification in a scientific or technical discipline.
