The Opportunity
Join one of Ireland's leading Tier 1 main contractors as a Project Manager to lead a flagship, multi-million-euro educational development in the heart of Limerick City.

The Role
You will take full operational, commercial, and technical ownership of the project from substructure through to final handover, with a heavy emphasis on delivering complex, high-specification reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Project Leadership: Manage the on-site team, including Site Managers, Project Engineers, and specialist subcontractors, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards.
- RC Framework Oversight: Oversee all technical aspects of reinforced concrete works-including formwork systems, rebar placement, concrete placement, and temporary works coordination.
- Commercial Management: Work closely with the commercial team to manage procurement, subcontracts, variations, cost reporting, and supply-chain packages.
- Programme & Planning: Own the master construction programme using Primavera P6 or ASTA Powerproject, proactively mitigating delays and managing project milestones.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, design team, local authorities, and third-party stakeholders.
- Safety & Quality Standards: Champion industry-leading BC(A)R, statutory compliance, environmental protocols, and Health & Safety standards on-site.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 7-10+ years of construction management experience leading large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, or pharmaceutical builds.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated track record delivering complex reinforced concrete (RC) frames and deep foundation packages.
- Main Contractor Track Record: Proven background operating at Project Manager level with a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
- Qualifications: Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a trade-qualified equivalent with extensive site leadership experience.
- Leadership & Drive: Strong contractual knowledge (RIAI / Public Works Contract), sharp commercial acumen, and natural ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams.
