Our client, a market leader, is recruiting a Commercial Manager to oversee its commercial activities in Ireland and play a key role in expanding its local operations. Reporting to the General manager, this position is instrumental in defining the company's commercial roadmap and ensuring its successful execution.
The ideal candidate will steer customer project delivery, shape commercial strategy, and manage critical stakeholder relationships. Working closely with teams across marketing, sales, operations, logistics, and purchasing, they will ensure strong commercial performance and uphold robust governance. Experience managing complex supply contracts and delivering profitable growth is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Shape, refine, and execute commercial strategies that support the company's long-term growth plans.
- Oversee commercial delivery for customer projects, ensuring profitability, quality, and timely execution.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to encourage collaboration and maintain business continuity.
- Contribute to sales growth through effective pricing, promotional planning, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Analyse KPIs and performance metrics to inform decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate daily activities across multiple departments to maintain seamless service delivery.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to team members and department heads.
- Support the enforcement and continuous improvement of health and safety standards.
Key Requirements:
- 5-8 years' experience in a senior commercial or operations management capacity.
- Proven experience handling commercial agreements and operating effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and make data-backed decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
