Our client, based in Kilkenny, is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the accounting and reporting aspects of Treasury Operations, as well as managing the business banking infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to gain exposure to treasury processes, compliance, and operational governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the business banking infrastructure, including opening/closing bank accounts and overseeing electronic payment platforms in partnership with external banking providers
- Support the Finance Manager with audit preparation, journal entries, and month-end processes
- Maintain key control and governance listings, including standing settlement instructions, authorised bank signatories, electronic payment approvers, and internal loan agreements
- Assist with management and board reporting for treasury operations
- Prepare and verify interest cost and fee reporting as part of cost control processes, supporting planning for the Finance Charges line of the P&L across multiple business categories
- Support Group compliance reporting, including covenant calculations, compliance certificates, KYC, and AML requirements
- Manage treasury correspondence, ensuring banking matters are promptly addressed or assigned to relevant team members
- Provide operational support to middle office functions, ensuring continuity of payment processing activities
Key Requirements:
- Newly qualified accountant; industry experience desirable
- Strong focus on risk, compliance, and controls
- High attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with complex data sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative approach with the ability to achieve goals in partnership with others

- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous
