Analytical Scientist - Laboratory-Based Role | Southeast Ireland

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, premixes, supplements, and finished feed products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out daily calibration, maintenance, and performance checks on laboratory equipment.
- Support the development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in line with GLP standards.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate laboratory data and results clearly.
- Assist in the creation and continuous improvement of laboratory documentation and SOPs.
- Contribute to ongoing research and development projects within the lab.
- Support the implementation and development of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Provide assistance in regulatory affairs, particularly concerning controlled substances.
- Recommend process and system improvements to enhance lab efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Need:
- BSc or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Forensic Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Practical laboratory experience in a relevant analytical or quality control setting is desirable.
- Willingness and ability to gain hands-on experience with Mass Spectrometry and LCMS systems.
- Strong foundation in analytical techniques, particularly NIR and wet chemistry methods.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented mindset.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
