An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join a rapidly expanding fulfilment and logistics business at a critical stage of growth. The business provides bespoke, value-added warehousing and fulfilment services to retail and e-commerce customers, including rework, labelling, barcoding, and multi-channel order fulfilment.
The Warehouse Operations Manager will take full operational ownership of a 40,000 sq. ft. multi-customer warehouse in Dublin, ensuring the effective day-to-day running of all warehousing and fulfilment activities. This role is central to delivering service excellence, operational efficiency, and safe, scalable growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a results-driven operator who enjoys building structure, improving performance, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Own and manage all daily warehouse operations including inbound goods, put-away, storage, rework, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Lead, develop, and motivate warehouse management, supervisory, and operational teams.
Ensure consistently high service levels across all customers, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.
Embed a culture of operational discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and health & safety compliance.
Implement, review, and enhance SOPs, operational controls, training plans, and performance management processes.
Maintain robust stock control processes, ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting and audits.
Optimise warehouse layout, labour deployment, and workflows to maximise productivity and capacity.
Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring smooth operational integration and service readiness.
Work closely with senior leadership on forecasting, labour planning, capacity modelling, and operational performance.
Lead operational readiness for site expansion, including increased volumes, headcount, and picking capacity.
Manage operational budgets, productivity targets, KPIs, and weekly performance reporting.
Ensure effective utilisation of WMS and operational data to drive visibility, control, and continuous improvement.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, or senior operations leader within a 3PL, fulfilment, or e-commerce environment.
Strong end-to-end understanding of warehouse and fulfilment operations, stock control, and customer service.
Highly operational and hands-on, with the ability to lead from the floor in a dynamic environment.
Track record of building high-performing teams and driving improvements in safety, service, and productivity.
Strong communicator with the ability to manage internal stakeholders and customer expectations.
Confident in using WMS, KPIs, and operational data to drive performance and decision-making.
A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing people, processes, and scalable operations.
