Transaction Relationship Manager (Debt & Structured Finance)

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Transaction Relationship Manager to join its Issuer Services team on a temporary basis. This role focuses on the execution and implementation of straight debt and structured finance transactions across the UK, Europe and MEA region.
This is a client-facing transaction execution role within a highly regulated corporate trust environment, offering exposure to complex cross-border debt structures.
You will be responsible for managing and executing debt transactions from documentation through to deal closure, acting as a key point of contact for allocated clients and internal stakeholders.
The role requires strong documentation expertise, transaction management capability, and a solid understanding of corporate trust or structured finance environments.
Execute and manage structured finance and straight debt transactions from mandate through to closing
Review, negotiate and coordinate transaction documentation including trust deeds, agency agreements, escrow agreements, custody agreements and related legal documents
Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of client transactions
Ensure accurate transaction set-up including account opening (cash and custody) and banking arrangements
Coordinate internal approvals including KYC, sanctions screening, deal review and compliance sign-off
Liaise with Sales, Product, Legal and Operations teams to ensure seamless implementation
Participate in deal review meetings and support transaction governance processes
Ensure accurate invoicing and revenue capture
Support wider team initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Experience within corporate trust, debt capital markets, structured finance or agency services
Strong working knowledge of transaction documentation and deal execution
General banking or financial services experience
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Legal experience within banking or structured finance will be considered advantageous but is not essential.
