The Role

Our client is seeking to hire a Tax Associate to join our tax team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of tax compliance and advisory projects in a fast-paced and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in tax and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
• Supporting the team in the preparation of VAT returns, RCT filings, and PAYE returns
• Conducting research on tax issues and drafting technical memos
• Liaising with Revenue and other stakeholders on behalf of clients
• Collaborating with audit and accounts teams to ensure accurate tax reporting
• Assisting in tax planning and advisory assignments as required
• Managing multiple deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (minimum 2.1)
• Strong interest in taxation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ROS or tax software is an advantage
• Prior experience in a practice or finance role is desirable but not essential
