Inventory Controller

Our client, a market-leading distributor of electrical products and solutions is seeking an Inventory Controller to join their team.

In this role you will strengthen stock accuracy, improve controls, and support branches nationwide. You will need to be analytical, detail-oriented, and confident influencing operational teams.

With offices based in Dublin West, they would be operating with a flexible hybrid working model and would be required to do some travel nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor strong internal controls to reduce stock discrepancies.
• Investigate variances and drive corrective actions.
• Support and train teams on ERP processes (D365 experience a big plus).
• Standardise inventory procedures across 24 branches.
• Produce clear stock analysis, dashboards, and management reports.
• Coordinate cycle counts and annual stock takes, resolving issues with warehouse teams.
• Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate accounting of stock flows.

Requirements:

• Experience in inventory control, auditing, or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP-driven stock flows.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• D365 or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
