Software Engineer

100% Onsite | 11 month contract | Multinational Tech Company

Responsibilities:

• Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.
• Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project specifications.
• Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systems across a number of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP(Hack)/Python
• Create consumer products and features on a large scale
• Master the clients development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.
• Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale a fully automated platform for operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Software Development Cycle (SDLC) of full-stack projects with industry-wide impact.
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
• Experience working effectively with and influencing senior engineers across organizations.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline.
• Experience in driving large-cross functional/industry-wide engineering efforts.
• Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial within a large team environment.
• Proficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor or advanced degrees in Computer Science or STEM fields.
• Experience developing an enterprise product built with high quality.
• Experience developing large and complex SQL queries, with low execution times.
• Experience with multiple dynamic and compiled programming languages in production environments is a plus.
• Any experience in a Support organization is also a plus.
• Experience in building privacy and ads related products is a big plus.
