Morgan McKinley are partnering with a well-established and growing FMCG organisation to appoint a Senior Supply Chain Analyst.
This role sits at the heart of the end-to-end supply chain function and will support operational performance across procurement, planning and supplier management. Reporting into the Supply Chain leadership team, you will deliver data-led insights ensuring alignment between procurement activity, demand planning and supplier agreements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver high-quality supply chain analysis to identify performance gaps, emerging risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Take ownership of a centralised pricing and procurement data framework, ensuring integrity, governance and version control.
- Partner with Procurement and Demand Planning teams to align purchasing activity with contractual commitments and forecasted demand.
- Conduct detailed pricing validation on purchase orders to safeguard margin and ensure compliance with agreed supplier terms.
- Monitor supplier contract utilisation and produce forward-looking reporting to support replenishment and sourcing decisions.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives through robust data modelling and scenario analysis.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and commercial documentation within ERP systems.
- Develop and enhance reporting dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility across key supply chain KPIs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes and systems.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience within a supply chain, procurement or operations analysis role with strong commercial awareness and an understanding of supplier pricing structures.
- Strong analytical capability with experience handling large, complex datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling and reporting development).
