Senior QA Engineer - Geneva Platform
12 month daily rate contract

€450-500 daily rate
We're looking for a highly experienced professional to own the quality and stability of our critical SS&C Advent Geneva platform. If you love digging deep into financial data and ensuring flawless system performance for major upgrades, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing:

Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Advent Geneva across our organisation. You'll analyse new releases, hotfixes and custom configurations to understand the full impact on our business.

Design, build and execute comprehensive regression and functional test plans for all Geneva updates. This means getting hands-on with security setups, instrument types, pricing and verifying complex financial outputs like P&L and NAV calculations.

Run the entire testing lifecycle for Geneva upgrades, from environment setup and test execution to final sign-off and go-live support. You'll track defects and provide senior stakeholders with a clear assessment of release readiness.

Use your SQL skills to perform deep data validation and ensure our accounting calculations are accurate.

Work closely with our Fund Accounting, Operations and Technology teams to ensure system changes meet business needs and maintain audit compliance.
What You'll Bring:

5+ years of serious, hands-on experience with SS&C Advent Geneva, including multiple upgrade cycles.

Deep expertise in regression testing and overall QA methodologies.

A strong foundation in Investment Accounting (you know multi-currency portfolios, derivatives, corporate actions, and fee calculations).

Solid SQL competency for data analysis and validation.

Experience working in a fast-paced buy-side, hedge fund, or fund administrator environment.
