As a contractor, you will be a key contributor to high-impact projects, focusing on building scalable, secure, and AI-enhanced web applications. Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and deploy services using AWS, Azure, or GCP, leveraging Kubernetes and Docker for containerization.
AI Integration: Implement and optimize AI-assisted tools and machine learning APIs to enhance application functionality and developer productivity.
API Design: Build and document secure, scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs to support internal and external integrations.
Quality & Security: Write clean, testable code and maintain high standards for security (DevSecOps) and data privacy (GDPR/DORA compliance).
Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
Front End: Proficiency in React.js, Vue.js, or Angular, along with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
Back End: Strong experience in Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or C# (.NET Core).
Database: Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform (IaC), and cloud-native services.
Tools: Proficiency in Git, Jira, and AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Experience in Cork's key industries: FinTech, MedTech, or BioPharma.
Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards like NIS2 or DORA.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder management within a hybrid team structure.
