Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join the team in Dublin. In this role, you will lead and deliver complex financial analysis, modeling, and strategic insights across EMEA operations. You will play a critical role in financial planning and decision support, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive performance, manage risk, and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for assigned business areas and initiatives.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models to support deal evaluation, long-term forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Deliver actionable business insights through data-driven analysis and financial reporting.
- Design and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and governance processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align on business objectives and financial strategy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive change across systems and workflows.
- Monitor risk and provide controls guidance within the financial planning function.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, data analytics, consulting, or technical operations roles.
- Proficiency in SQL or similar tools for analyzing large data sets and solving statistical problems.
- Solid knowledge of financial and managerial accounting principles, including revenue recognition, CapEx, accruals, and balance sheet analysis.
- Experience in financial modeling, including M&A, deal modeling, and multi-year forecasts.
- Ability to define and track KPIs and other financial performance metrics.
- Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on complex problems and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Technical aptitude with financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms) and a strong ability to learn new tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the technology or cloud services sector.
- Background in risk management and SOX or other control environments.
Demonstrated experience presenting financial insights to leadership.
