We have a fantastic hybrid working opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our client, a globally recognized advertising agency, based in Dublin City Centre, initially on a 12-month contract.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with client teams, contributing to various aspects of client finances, from scoping and estimating to invoicing, budget control, and debt collection.
This is a chance for a qualified accountant to take on more responsibility, support team members, and oversee administration and accounting reporting processes.
Would be following direction, guidance or instructions of the Programme Director, who still hold overall responsibility to review and sign-off any such forms. To attend internal meetings to help the client team to link planned work to scoping documents and resource requests. To review and monitor WIP and to be the client team's point of contact for payment or other queries.
Hybrid working model: 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.
Main Responsibilities:
· Processing month-end journals including negative debtor reallocation, positive creditor reallocation, rebate journal, inter-company, PO journal, WIP, and TAX
· Reviewing and mentoring colleagues as needed to ensure correct filing and naming conventions for job names.
· Managing supplier accruals and prepayments
· Reconciling income by client to the P&L
· Maintenance of client master files and credit review involving, client setup and monitoring outstanding invoices, WIP, and unbilled time, and comparing them to credit insurance limits
Requirements/Qualification:
· ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CPA Qualified Accountant
· Experienced working within a multinational organisation as a Financial Accountant or GL Accountant
· Ability to work as part of team
· Strong attention to detail
· Proficient in Excel
