Senior Data Scientist - Daily Rate Contract (12 Months)

📍 Dublin, Ireland | Hybrid

We're hiring a senior, hands-on Data Scientist to join a busy team supporting products across the UKI & EU.

This role is heavily focused on data understanding and data processing. You'll work with large, complex, real-world datasets, helping to identify data issues, build robust data pipelines and support product and business decision-making.

You'll need to be confident, proactive and comfortable getting up to speed quickly, as onboarding is light and the team moves fast.

Key Responsibilities

• Deeply explore and understand complex datasets

• Build and maintain data processing and analytics solutions (ETL, pipelines)

• Apply appropriate analytical and statistical techniques

• Collaborate with product, engineering and technology teams

• Clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Mentor and support other team members

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a Data Scientist in a production environment

• Excellent data processing skills; advanced Python (or R) and SQL

• Comfortable working independently

• Strong communication skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure a plus)

Nice to have: Experience in insurance, fintech, risk, or regulated data environments.
