A well-established distributor and industrial solutions provider is seeking an organized and versatile Sales & Customer Support for a fully onsite role in North Dublin.
This position is ideal for candidates residing on the Northside looking for an easy daily commute. In this multi-faceted role, you will act as the operational backbone of the office, managing everything from ERP sales order entry and client relations to cross-departmental coordination with logistics, purchasing, and administration.
Sales Order Entry & Tracking: Process and confirm incoming sales orders via phone and email into the ERP system. Check stock availability, generate daily outstanding order reports, and attend morning sales meetings to ensure orders are actively managed to completion.
Customer Service & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, provide quotes, manage website leads, and maintain updated customer price files. Issue invoices, account statements, and Proofs of Delivery (POD) while cross-collaborating internally to expedite urgent orders.
Purchasing & Logistics Support: Place orders with suppliers, generate new product codes, and manage stock levels. Allocate inventory, pick/dispatch orders, coordinate with couriers for collections, and resolve any invoice or delivery discrepancies with suppliers.
Specialized Compliance & Administration: Maintain organized physical and digital customer files. Manage the receipt, dispatch, and return of Customs & Excise requisitions for regulated alcohol-based products, track Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) for collection, and manage petty cash.
Candidate Profile:
Location & Setup: Must be able to commit to a 100% onsite schedule in North Dublin (ideally living on the Northside).
Experience: Strong background in sales administration, order processing, or commercial customer support. Previous experience handling basic logistics, purchasing administration, or warehouse coordination is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ERP systems for stock management and order entry is essential, alongside solid MS Office skills.
Compliance & Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to accurately handle regulatory paperwork (such as Customs & Excise forms) and financial discrepancies.
Communication & Multi-tasking: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across sales, production, and logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.
