Morgan McKinley are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a growing team in Dublin.
The person in this role will manage the procurement of IT goods and services, ensuring the organisation gets the best value, quality, and service. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers throughout the full purchasing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sourcing plans for IT products and services.
- Research and assess potential suppliers, lead negotiations, and build strong supplier relationships.
- Oversee spending across IT, hardware, and software categories, focusing on cost savings and value for money.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documents such as contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure they meet agreed standards and contract terms.
- Address and resolve any supplier issues quickly and effectively.
- Look for opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes.
- Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to review procurement performance and identify improvements.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in IT procurement, including strategic sourcing and managing complex projects.
- Experience in the technology sector and strong knowledge of IT products and services.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Confidence using procurement tools and software.
