About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power BI Developer to join a growing analytics and reporting team based in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in Power BI, reporting, or data analytics who is looking to further develop their technical and business intelligence skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design dashboards, automate reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Create and optimize data models using Power Query and DAX
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL and ETL processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reporting standards across dashboards and reports
- Support the automation of recurring reporting processes and workflows
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and improve dashboard performance
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Document reporting processes, dashboard functionality, and data definitions
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a BI Developer, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Good understanding of:
- Data modelling
- Dashboard development
- Experience writing SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
