Job Title: Policy Specialist (Trust & Safety - Temporary, 12 Months)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Role Overview
As a Policy Specialist, you will contribute to policy development and cross-functional initiatives that protect users, reduce risk, and support compliance across our global platforms. Working under the guidance of a manager, you will apply foundational policy expertise to support product launches, uphold platform integrity, and collaborate with internal and external partners. You will help execute policy tasks of moderate complexity while ensuring regional sensitivity and alignment with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement global product policies and standards with attention to regional context, cultural nuances, and community expectations across our platforms.
- Support the development and launch of products, features, and processes that enhance user trust and uphold policy requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to develop, refine, and operationalise product policies across a diverse product ecosystem.
- Participate in investigations and respond to inquiries from external parties, including reviewing, processing, and responding to real-world user-related requests or cases.
- Resolve policy escalations from initiation through completion, with guidance as needed.
- Identify, analyze, and monitor policy issues that may impact the company, users, or the broader regulatory environment - both presently and in the future.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing, providing updates and relevant policy or process information.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Skills
- Policy Fundamentals: Understanding of policy development and implementation processes.
- Regulatory Process Knowledge: Awareness of regulatory landscapes influencing online platforms.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Relations & Influence: Ability to collaborate within teams and engage partners effectively.
