We have an exciting permanent parttime opportunity for a strong Senior Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper with a boutique property company in growth mode.

- Parttime: 20-24 hours per week, can be spread across 3 days or 5 morning or afternoon/ flexible
- Company pension, 23 days AL
- Salary is DOE within the region of €28,000 - €32,000 for parttime hours
A bit about your new role:
We are seeking a highly capable bookkeeper, a strategic individual to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function for two growing offices. As the sole bookkeeper, you will assume responsibility for the accounting actives, ensure compliance and accurate reporting, and provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making.
Whilst working as part of a small personable office team you will also work closely with the company's external accountant. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role suited to someone who thrives in a growing business and enjoys having broad organisational influence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of two offices, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general bookkeeping.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for the sales team.
- You will be responsible for the all the companies bookkeeping activities, liaising with the external accountant
- Assist external accountants/auditors in preparing VAT returns, tax compliance, and all accounting related queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for short- and long-term business goals.
- Implement improvements in financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
Skills & Experience Required
- Accounting Technician or relevant experienced as a senior bookkeeper with equivalent expertise.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant bookkeeping experience, ideally within a small or growing business.
- A strong communicator with excellent written and proofreading skills.
- Good working knowledge of Accounting Software's and MS Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise key tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills relevant to the role.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple responsibilities.
