Excellent opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant/experience Assistant Accountant to join a leading medical supply company based in West Dublin on a Permanent Full Time basis. Reporting into the finance manager, you will be their number two in finance and be responsible for assisting with management account preparations, managing payables and receivables, tax returns and working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Manage stock ordering, receipting, invoicing, and levels, while using Sage and Barscan software.
- Handle accounts for two companies, including a smaller operation in Northern Ireland.
- Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat, WEEE, and CSO returns for compliance.
- Process all non-stock purchase invoices in Sage.
- Coordinate with sales teams to track and follow up on open sales orders.
- Learn sales order and invoice processes and support customer service calls using a bespoke database.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, year-end files, and oversee stocktakes.
- Manage payroll and handle employee expense claims with reporting to Revenue.
- Organize and process payments to stock and service suppliers.
- Gain expertise across key systems and processes with increasing responsibilities.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a busy accounting role
- Medical supply industry experience is an advantage
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or relevant experience
- Sage experience is an advantage
- Ambitious and strong communicator
