    Our client, a rapidly growing investment and pensions advisory firm, is seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Operations Manager to drive workflow efficiency, people performance, and operational excellence across the business.

    About the Role

    As Operations Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations across pensions, investments, and risk products, ensuring smooth processes, team performance, and an exceptional client experience.

    Working closely with senior leadership, you'll enhance performance tracking, technology adoption, and business scalability. This is a key role for someone who enjoys building structure, driving accountability, and implementing practical solutions that make a business run better.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage daily operations across multiple financial products (DC, PRSA, retail, and group).

    • Oversee renewals, invoicing, client transitions, and process consistency.

    • Support the sales team with pipeline management, proposal coordination, and reporting.

    • Lead and motivate the advice and administration team, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.

    • Develop and manage performance dashboards covering productivity, pipeline, and profitability.

    • Identify and deliver workflow and automation improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.

    • Lead change projects to strengthen scalability and resilience.

    • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while managing resource allocation and recruitment.

    Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience leading teams in a financial advisory, investments, or pensions environment.

    • Strong operational management and process improvement expertise.

    • Skilled in Excel, CRM systems, and digital workflow tools.

    • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

    • QFA qualification essential.

    • Minimum 10 years' experience in the financial services sector.
