Job Description
Working closely with Associate Directors and Directors, you will deliver high-quality financial reporting and advisory services to publicly listed companies, multinational organisations and high-growth businesses.
You will play a key role in managing client engagements, supporting clients through complex accounting and reporting matters, and leading teams to deliver projects efficiently. The role offers strong technical exposure, client interaction and clear opportunities for career progression within a growing advisory practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of financial reporting and advisory engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP.
- Support clients with technical accounting matters, including acquisitions, group restructurings, consolidations, revenue recognition, lease accounting and impairment assessments.
- Assist with project planning, resource coordination and engagement management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing responsive and practical advice.
- Manage, coach and develop Senior Associates and Associates, providing ongoing technical support and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with quality, risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service delivery.
- Support business development activities through proposal preparation, networking opportunities and identifying opportunities within existing client relationships.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- 3-5+ years' post-qualified experience in audit, financial reporting or accounting advisory.
- Previous experience within a Top 20 practice or advisory firm is desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercial mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Experience using CaseWare or similar financial reporting software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
