Senior Consultant - Level 2 Application Support
Morgan McKinley has an exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Consultant-level Application Support professional to join a growing post-implementation support team supporting a proprietary platform within the Asset Management space.
This is a client-facing Level 2 support role focused on ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a live production platform used by institutional users. The position would suit someone with strong Asset Management domain knowledge who enjoys working closely with users, troubleshooting issues, coordinating resolutions, and delivering incremental platform improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 application support for a live Asset Management platform
- Investigate, manage, and resolve user issues and service requests
- Handle platform queries, configurations, customisations, and minor enhancements
- Log, track, and escalate defects or technical issues to development teams where required
- Perform configuration and testing activities related to small platform changes
- Work directly with business users and stakeholders in a B2B environment
- Support incident management and service improvement initiatives
- Ensure tickets are managed effectively through to resolution using ITSM tooling
Required Experience
- You ideally have strong Asset Management or Investment Management domain knowledge
- Previous experience in Application Support, Production Support, Service Management, or BAU platform support environments
- Experience resolving incidents, managing tickets, and supporting business users
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a post-go-live support environment
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting proprietary or highly customised platforms
- Exposure to configuration-based changes and testing activities
- Background working within financial services technology teams

Contract Information
- Salary guide: approximately €55,000 base
