Investment Oversight Officer - Leading Global Investment Firm
Reporting to the firm's CEO, Investment Management Officer will work closely within this oversight team in monitoring the Portfolio Management and related activities, whilst supporting legal, risk and compliance colleagues across the group.
The team interacts with a variety of key stakeholders across the wider business, ensuring exposure to Portfolio Management, Trading, Client Relationship Management, Legal, Compliance and Risk.
The candidate will manage ongoing responsibilities through regular meetings with portfolio managers and oversight of the teams carrying out functions related to portfolio management, culminating with quarterly reporting and engagement with the firm's Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the firm's CIO with analysis of performance, initial and ongoing due diligence of the investment strategies and process
- Supporting the firm's CIO with the production of regular reporting metrics and presentations including Branch Manager and quarterly Board reporting
- Collaborating with the other oversight and control functions in ongoing monitoring of delegated portfolio management and related functions
- Internal Project representation and Industry-wide engagement
Skills/Experience Required
- Adept at data analysis, modelling and concise visual presentation.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about financial markets
- Strong collaborator, open-minded with appetite to learn from and support colleagues.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines, adapting to a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Finance-related degree and/or Fund Investment Management Professional qualification preferred.
