We are working with a client that is a prominent, not-for-profit international standards organisation dedicated to improving supply chain efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational visibility across multiple sectors. They are seeking a Head of Sector to drive their strategic engagement and build influential relationships across their ecosystem. Operating as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders and policymakers to embed data and traceability standards into digital health initiatives and procurement. This role is essential for advancing digital safety strategies, improving patient care pathways, and positioning the organisation as a trusted partner in health sector transformation
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Significant senior leadership experience, with a proven track record of building trusted relationships and turning that trust into delivered outcomes.
- The ability to establish trust quickly and align colleagues, members, and partners at senior and executive levels.
- Strategic thinking combined with an outcome-focused, hands-on delivery mindset to translate vision into practical, results-driven plans.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence to represent the organisation externally.
- Working knowledge of data standards, traceability, and interoperability, alongside an openness to using AI and digital tools.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong senior relationships across the healthcare ecosystem, positioning the organisation as a credible, trusted standards partner.
- Influence senior decision-making to ensure data standards are understood and embedded in digital health programmes and procurement.
- Represent the organisation at national healthcare conferences, sector events, and relevant working groups as a speaker or chair.
- Facilitate sector-specific healthcare working groups to support all stakeholders implementing the digital safety and traceability strategy.
- Oversee all healthcare-related member enquiries, driving sustainable growth in membership, services, and sector adoption.
- Develop and deliver the strategic plan for healthcare sector engagement, managing the healthcare budget, revenue, and resource optimisation.
