A leading European insurance provider is seeking a Head of Marketing & Distribution to drive strategic growth across key EEA markets. This is a newly created role and a unique opportunity to influence product innovation, commercial strategy, and partner distribution across a diverse portfolio.
1. Market & Customer Insights
Build and maintain deep understanding of insurance markets across France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, and beyond.
Monitor trends, conduct market analysis, and deliver insight reports.
Run workshops, benchmarks, surveys, and customer focus groups.
Partner with external research agencies for in-depth studies.
2. Product Innovation & Strategy
Develop a mid-term product innovation roadmap (e.g., CPI, Lifestyle, GAP, and emerging solutions).
Lead end-to-end product design with cross-functional teams (actuarial, legal, risk, compliance).
Drive feasibility studies, documentation, and internal approval processes.
3. Sales & Distribution Support
Create sales training, pitch materials, and marketing support for partners and prospects.
Deliver webinars, sales kits, and point-of-sale tools.
Lead performance measurement of distribution campaigns.
4. Commercial Communication
Build a suite of corporate presentation templates and pitch decks.
Support tender submissions and internal business development efforts.
Lead and mentor a small team, driving performance and development.
Collaborate daily with internal sales, legal, actuarial, and operational teams.
Engage with partners, third-party administrators, and senior stakeholders across the group.
10-15 years' experience in insurance, retail banking, or consumer finance marketing.
Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Expertise in product development and value proposition design.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
Senior-level influence in a dynamic international organization.
Exposure to multiple markets with scope to drive regional impact.
