Our client, based in Dublin City Centre, and a leader within Financial Services, is seeking a dynamic Head of Human Resources, a key senior leadership appointment that will shape and drive the organisation's people strategy.
This critical role supports business growth, ensures robust regulatory compliance, and fosters a strong culture of accountability. The Head of HR will oversee the full HR lifecycle - including attraction, onboarding, performance, reward, development, conduct, and offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Regulatory Leadership
- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with business objectives and organisational culture.
- Partner with senior leaders on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, and cultural initiatives.
- Provide guidance on people risks, organisational design, and change management.
- Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
- Ensure compliance with all Central Bank of Ireland regulations.
People Leadership & HR Operations
- Lead and develop an HR team of six across operations, payroll, talent, and L&D.
- Oversee contracts, onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and offboarding.
- Maintain and improve HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Lead HR reporting and analytics for senior management and regulators.
Talent, Learning & Development
- Implement talent management, succession planning, and internal mobility frameworks.
- Deliver the L&D strategy to support career growth and leadership capability.
- Work with managers to address skills gaps and training needs.
Performance & Reward
- Manage the performance management process and ensure alignment to organisational goals.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive structures.
- Lead salary review and bonus cycles.
Culture, Change Management & Engagement
- Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performance.
- Support organisational change and transformation.
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalisation across HR processes.
Employee Relations & Conduct
- Act as escalation point for complex employee relations cases.
- Embed Conduct Standards across the organisation.
- Provide expert advice on disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters.
- Manage relationships with external advisors and regulatory bodies.
Key Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years' progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in senior HR leadership in Financial Services.
- Broad HR expertise across operations, talent, learning, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to align HR strategy with business and regulatory needs.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law.
- Commercial, data-driven, and able to balance strategic and operational priorities.
