Government Affairs & Public Policy Analyst
We are seeking a Government Affairs & Public Policy Analyst to join a European policy team supporting research and strategic initiatives across multiple markets, including the UK, EU institutions, and select national jurisdictions.
This role blends policy research and project coordination, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-impact work on digital transformation, including AI, labour markets, and emerging technologies. You will help shape thought leadership, support large-scale research initiatives, and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.
Conduct research on digital, economic, and public policy trends (e.g., AI, labour policy, digital markets)
Analyze EU and national policy developments and identify key insights
Support the creation of policy reports, briefings, and thought leadership materials
Translate complex policy and economic topics into clear, accessible narratives
Contribute to initiatives that inform and engage policymakers
Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination for policy projects
Liaise with external partners, including research institutions and vendors
Support administrative processes (scheduling, documentation, budgeting)
Maintain records of research, meetings, and project progress
Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Communications, Marketing, and regional stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, or research
Experience supporting policy development (not just compliance)
Strong organizational and project coordination skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional, international teams
Policy research and analysis
Understanding of macroeconomic and political dynamics
Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
Project management and operational execution
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Clear communication across diverse audiences
Experience in digital policy, AI policy, or economic policy
Familiarity with EU policymaking and institutions
Experience working across multiple European markets
Background in thought leadership or research-driven policy work
Experience managing vendors or external partnerships
Additional European language skills
