A leading not-for-profit organisation based in Dublin is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join their team on a full-time contract basis. Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Dublin 7
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Carry out reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Match and verify income records between the CRM and financial systems, covering data from 2023 onward.
Evaluate current grant management tools and recommend improvements for greater efficiency.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive fixed asset register.
Review existing financial policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Assist in refining and streamlining month-end reporting and closing activities.
Undertake additional finance-related tasks as needed to support the organisation's operations.
We're looking for someone with:
Minimum 5 years' experience with reconcilation and/or as Accounts Assistant
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Macros, Pivot Tables, advanced formulae)
Strong experience with accounting software
Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Tools
Experience working in small to medium-sized business environments
