Financial Accountant
Location: Dublin City Centre
Hybrid: 3 days onsite

Our client is recruiting for a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join a growing, commercially focused organisation. This is a hands-on role within a finance team, offering broad exposure across reporting, controls, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.
This opportunity suits an accountant looking to strengthen technical expertise while developing commercial awareness and progressing toward senior or commercial finance roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
- Prepare management accounts and provide clear commentary on performance and key drivers
- Maintain ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Support group reporting and consolidation requirements
- Assist with statutory accounts and tax compliance, including indirect taxes where applicable
- Act as a key contact for external and internal audits
- Monitor cash movements and contribute to cash flow forecasting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling alongside FP&A or commercial teams
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and automation
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- 2+ years post-qualification experience in a commercial or industry environment
- Strong experience in month-end close and financial reporting
- Solid technical accounting skills with good commercial awareness
- Confident working with ERP systems and financial data
Desirable
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing, or international business
- Exposure to group reporting, consolidation, or indirect tax
- Experience driving process improvement or system enhancements
