Finance - Business Performance Analyst

Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights? Our client, a leading Irish energy and retail group, is seeking a Business/Finance Performance Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract.

You'll play a key role in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to deliver strategic insights that support business decisions. Reporting to the Head of Business and Financial Planning, this role will focus heavily on Power BI reporting, Excel dashboards, and collaboration across multiple departments.

With offices based in Dublin 1, they are operating with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business performance through data modelling and trend analysis
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
• Translate data into meaningful, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Work cross-functionally to improve data integrity and reporting processes

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong Financial acumen
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or similar
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business KPIs
• Confident communicator with the ability to present findings clearly
• Experience with data warehousing and BI methodologies
