Job Title: Data Labelling Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Labeling Analyst to join our team as a Contract Worker. This role supports specialized enforcement and risk operations focused on the Algerian and Maghreb regions.
The successful candidate will contribute to content moderation operations, escalation handling, and quality assurance efforts, while supporting the training and improvement of AI-driven systems. This includes investigating complex cases, generating operational insights, and collaborating with cross-functional partners and vendor teams to ensure high-quality, policy-aligned outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Content Moderation & Escalation Support
- Review, investigate, and action escalated content and account-related cases from internal teams, partners, or government entities.
- Interpret and enforce content policies and platform guidelines with a focus on the Algerian market.
Quality Assurance & Risk Analysis
- Analyze escalation data, content review outcomes, and risk signals to identify trends and operational gaps.
- Support quality standards by contributing insights that improve decision accuracy and consistency.
Vendor Collaboration & Calibration
- Work closely with vendor teams to ensure operational KPIs and quality targets are met or exceeded.
- Provide feedback and support calibration efforts to improve processes, tools, and enforcement accuracy.
Process & Tool Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, escalation processes, and tooling.
- Contribute to projects focused on automation, AI enablement, and scalable solutions.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders including Policy, Legal, Product, Engineering, and regional teams to address emerging risks.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and risk assessments clearly and effectively.
Proactive Monitoring
- Monitor emerging trends, slang, and high‑risk keywords relevant to the Algerian market.
- Support response efforts during high‑risk events such as regional crises or elections.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Online Operations, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Algerian language requirement (Algerian Arabic) with deep market and cultural knowledge; lived experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of content moderation policies, procedures, and enforcement guidelines.
- Ability to make sound judgments under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency or basic knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) for reporting and operational decision‑making.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
- Experience working with vendors or external partners is preferred.
