Our client has a strong reputation for delivering mid-market M&A and strategic advisory services across a range of sectors. The firm is known for its hands-on approach, collaborative culture, and focus on long-term client relationships.
Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute and driven professional to take ownership of transaction processes and play a central role in deal origination, execution, and client management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading M&A transactions, supporting business development initiatives, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in the execution of buy-side and sell-side transactions, including financial analysis, deal structuring, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support.
- Develop and review valuation models (DCF, precedent transactions, comparables), financial projections, and strategic business plans.
- Prepare high-quality client deliverables including pitch books, information memoranda, and board presentations.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and counterparties throughout the transaction process.
- Manage internal teams and external advisors, ensuring timely and effective delivery on all aspects of a deal.
- Contribute to origination efforts through market research, deal sourcing, and development of client relationships.
- Support the continued development of junior staff through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate finance, M&A advisory, transaction services, or investment banking.
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring.
- ACA, ACCA, CFA or similar professional qualification preferred.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end transaction processes and engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
