Claims Handler (FNOL)

My client, a multiline insurance company, is looking for a First Notification of Loss Claims Handler. This role is based in South Dublin and operates on a hybrid model. You must be APA qualified at a min.
To be successful you must have:

1-2 years' First Notification of Loss (FNOL) claims handling experience.

APA qualified or grandfathered (CIP in progress preferred).
Key Responsibilities

Handle daily claims: post, notifications, processing, and phone calls.

Log claims, reserve amendments, and payments in the system by month end.

Assist with month-end insurer reports and audits.

Appoint repairers, adjusters, engineers, and other experts when needed.

Aim for early claim settlement (without legal involvement where possible).

Ensure compliance with insurance binders, claims authority, CPC, PIAB, and motor legislation.

Provide excellent service to customers, brokers, and third parties.

Support settlement negotiations and insurer reporting when required.

Undertake other duties as assigned by management.
