Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary operational contact for an assigned portfolio of alternative investment fund clients.
- Review and approve NAVs, valuations, and financial reporting, with a focus on private debt and loan portfolios.
- Prepare or review quarterly management accounts for investment structures.
- Prepare or review capital call and distribution calculations, investor notices, and capital statements.
- Prepare and review complex waterfall calculations and related analyses.
- Coordinate and manage annual fund audits, working closely with external auditors.
- Lead or support business risk assessments, process improvements, and technology-driven enhancements.
- Contribute to firmwide projects and ad hoc initiatives during the company's high-growth, scale-up phase.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA preferred).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting or fund administration.
- Strong exposure to private debt, lending structures, and alternative investment vehicles (distinct advantage).
- Experience in change management, team leadership, or process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Adaptability and confidence working in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
