A truly great opportunity for a highly skilled senior Accounts Payable Professional with a multinational pharmaceutical company based in Dublin city centre.
11-month Contract
Salary €45,000 - €50,000

Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the accounts payable and purchasing responsibilities
- Maintaining best practice accounts payable procedures to ensure the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices.
- Managing the weekly vendor payment runs.
- Ensuring vendor accounts are reconciled and any differences resolved as soon as possible.
- Closing AP ledger in line with month end reporting requirement.
- Review of requisition requests and creation of purchase orders.
- Liaising with internal employees and external vendors regarding Purchase Order and Invoice payment queries.
- Administrating the company's expense system, manging the monthly expense payments and reporting to Revenue.
- Managing the bank entry and reconciliation process for the company's bank accounts, ensuring all unreconciled items are cleared before month end.
- Posting journals required to ensure bank account transactions are fully accounted for by the month end deadline.
- Support month-end, quarter end and year-end journal entry and associated processes, including working with internal/external auditors as needed.
- Manage the bank payments of payroll related outflows, ensuring all payroll, pension and tax deadlines are met.
Person Specifications & Qualification:
- At least 3-8 years' experience within a multinational Accounts Payable role is essential
- Experience with Oracle, SAP and Concur is advantageous
- Strong bank account reconciliations experience
- Ability to work as part of a team to deliver on all AP responsibilities
- Work to tight deadlines at month end
- Time management, flexibility and organisational skills
