This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage, optimise, and innovate supply chain processes across procurement, planning, logistics, and customer service.
What You'll Do:
As the Supply Chain Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 20+ professionals, including direct leadership of approximately 10 team members. Your primary focus will be:
- Resource Planning:
- Ensure your team and resources align with Purchase Order requirements and Sales Order demands.
- Oversee the Procurement, Planning, Supplier Development, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to deliver on-time, high-quality results.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and HR to maintain seamless operations, ensuring employee safety, engagement, and development.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Develop and track KPIs, such as On-Time In-Full delivery, inventory accuracy, and customer response metrics.
- Address gaps in performance with corrective actions while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Known Consignor, Dangerous Goods Transportation, and import/export regulations.
- Process Optimisation:
- Leverage Lean methodologies to refine supply chain workflows, drive efficiency, and support innovation.
- Ensure robust control practices, accurate ERP system data, and streamlined inventory management.
Key Objectives:
- Deliver on-time and high-quality supply chain outputs.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes and team performance.
- Collaborate effectively across departments and global supply chain networks.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 10+ years leading teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Education: A qualification in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or a related field. An engineering background in Electronic/Electrical disciplines is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP, Known Consignor compliance, Lean principles, and project management.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Proven capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from line operators to senior management.
