Role Purpose
We are thrilled to bring to market an new and exciting Service Administration role, the successful candidate provides comprehensive administrative support to the service department, ensuring the efficient processing of warranty claims, customer billing, and customer account management. The role is office-based and supports the smooth day-to-day running of the department while maintaining excellent customer service over the telephone.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and submit supplier warranty claims accurately and within required timescales.
- Prepare and submit employee timesheets.
- Administer customer accounts within internal systems, including setting up and managing online customer accounts.
- Charge completed service jobs accurately and efficiently, ensuring all labour, parts and associated costs are correctly invoiced to customers.
- Provide general administrative support to the service department, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Answer telephone enquiries professionally and assist customers with service-related queries.
- Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and data protection requirements.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- Professional and courteous telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
