    Morgan McKinley has partnered with a pharmaceuticals organisation in Cork looking to hire a SEO Specialist. The purpose of the role is to maximize the visibility, discoverability, and performance of web content through advanced SEO strategies and continuous optimization. Deliver high-quality, SEO-optimized, and visually engaging content across web properties.

    Responsibilities:

    Comprehensive SEO Strategy Development

    • Create and maintain a detailed SEO roadmap aligned with overall content strategy.
    • Define KPIs and reporting cadence for SEO performance.

    Keyword Research & Content Mapping

    • Perform in-depth keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
    • Map keywords to content clusters and customer journey stages.
    • Identify long-tail and high-intent keywords for niche audiences.

    On Page Optimization

    • Optimize meta tags, headers, alt text, and structured data.
    • Ensure proper internal linking and URL structure for improved crawlability.

    Technical SEO

    • Audit site architecture for crawl efficiency and indexation.
    • Monitor and resolve issues related to site speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
    • Collaborate with developers to implement technical fixes (e.g., canonical tags, redirects).

    Content Performance Analysis

    • Track rankings, organic traffic, and engagement metrics.
    • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console) to identify improvement areas.
    • Provide actionable insights to content creators and strategists.

    Link-Building & Authority Building

    • Develop link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
    • Identify partnership opportunities for backlinks and guest content.

    Local & International SEO

    • Optimize for local search where relevant (Google My Business, local citations).
    • Support multilingual SEO strategies for global content hubs.

    KPIs & Success Metrics:

    • Organic Traffic Growth: % increase in organic sessions over baseline.
    • Keyword Rankings: Number of priority keywords in top 10 positions.
    • Technical Health: Reduction in crawl errors and improved Core Web Vitals scores.
    • Conversion Rate from Organic: Growth in leads or actions from organic traffic.
    • Backlink Quality: Increase in high-authority backlinks.
