Management Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid - North Cork
Overview
An established organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the successful candidate will support financial reporting, commercial analysis and operational finance, with responsibility for inventory, sales, margins and cost reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate weekly and monthly financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Manage inventory reporting, including stock valuation, movements, stock takes and control procedures.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Partner with procurement and operational teams to monitor supplier performance and maximise margins.
- Review product profitability and support commercial decision-making.
- Assist with monthly management accounts, forecasting and budgeting.
- Support the implementation of financial controls and liaise with internal and external auditors.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum three years' experience in a management accounting or similar finance role.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills, with experience handling large datasets.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Well organised, commercially aware and able to work effectively to deadlines.
