About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Services Engineer with a strong background in energy systems and HVAC to join a well-established company in Cork. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working and the opportunity to work on technically challenging pharmaceutical and large-scale building services projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of energy-efficient mechanical and HVAC solutions while supporting project teams from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of HVAC and building services systems across pharmaceutical and energy-focused projects.

• Develop energy-efficient solutions in line with sustainability and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

• Oversee technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.

• Support commissioning, testing, and system handover activities.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

• Ensure all works comply with health & safety, quality, and industry standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in building services engineering or a similar role.

• Strong background in HVAC systems and energy-efficient design.

• Experience working on pharmaceutical or regulated projects is highly desirable.

• Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
